A perfect winter, between snow and rides in the sun

The last weeks were pretty busy... and I won't complain about that! Winter is now on Switzerland and luckily for me it means that road rides are replaced by cross-country skiing and ski touring. Unfortunately, time spent on rollers also increased.. world is not perfect ;) However, riding a bike in good conditions is priceless. And for this, we need to go south! End of January, with my riding buddy Ismaël, we thus took the camping car and drove to Italy. First stop in Sestri Levante was great, with two days of Enduro ride on fast, dry and technical tracks. But the second stop was simply magic! A few days in San Remo on the DH bikes.. I have to do this more often!! The tracks are so good: rocky and technical, but with just enough flow to be amazing. Can't wait to have an other opportunity to ride there :) After a short stay at home, it was Italy again, but with the Team this time. The schedule was tight with a lot of riding, photos and videos shootings, some timed testing and meetings with partners. A great occasion to spend time with my team mates, to test new bikes and above all to ride!

After these two stays in Italy, my travels to the sun weren't finished. Last week, I flew to Malaga, Spain. There, I met Fox for suspensions testing. The morning of the test I had a good bike, at the end of the day a machine! It's amazing to have fork and shock working just as I like. Thank you some much Fox and particularly Jordi!! I then benefited being in Spain to train on some demanding trails. A great preparation for a season which is coming soon. Effectively, I will fly to New Zealand in two weeks for the first Enduro World Series. I'll write from there :)
